At LALUNASHOE, we are committed to delivering our cakes fresh, intact, and on time to ensure your celebration is perfect. This Shipping Policy outlines our delivery areas, fees, timeframes, and terms to provide you with the best possible service.


1. Delivery Areas and Availability

We currently offer cake delivery services within Sutton and surrounding areas in the United Kingdom. If your location is outside our standard delivery zones, please contact us to check for availability and special arrangements.


2. Delivery Fees

Our delivery charges are based on the distance from our location (98 Mounthoolie Lane Street, Sutton, United Kingdom) and are calculated as follows:

  • Within Sutton (Local Area): Free delivery for orders over £50; otherwise, a £5 delivery fee applies.
  • 1-10 miles from Sutton: £10 delivery charge.
  • 10-20 miles from Sutton: £15 delivery charge.
  • Over 20 miles: Custom pricing – please contact us for a quote.

All delivery charges will be calculated and confirmed during checkout.


3. Delivery Timeframes and Scheduling

3.1 Standard Delivery Time

  • Orders are delivered between 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.
  • We provide same-day delivery for standard cakes, provided the order is placed before 12:00 PM.
  • Custom cakes require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for preparation.

3.2 Selecting Your Delivery Time

  • Customers can select a preferred delivery time slot at checkout. While we strive to meet your requested time, we cannot guarantee exact delivery times due to traffic and unforeseen delays.

  • If you require a specific time-sensitive delivery, please contact us in advance. Additional charges may apply for rush orders.


4. Pickup Option

Customers can choose to pick up their orders from our location at:

  • Pickup Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Customers must arrive within the scheduled pickup time to ensure freshness and product availability.
  • Orders not collected on the agreed date may not be eligible for refunds or replacements.

5. Delivery Terms and Responsibilities

5.1 Receiving Your Order

  • Someone must be available to receive the cake at the provided delivery address. If no one is available, our driver may wait up to 10 minutes before moving on to the next delivery.
  • If the delivery fails due to customer unavailability or incorrect address, the customer may need to arrange a new delivery at an additional cost or pick up the order from our store.

5.2 Handling and Storage

  • Once delivered, customers are responsible for properly storing and handling the cake to maintain freshness.
  • Cakes should be kept in a cool, dry place and refrigerated if necessary.
  • LALUNASHOE is not responsible for damage to cakes after successful delivery or pickup due to improper handling or storage.

6. Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances

While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, unexpected circumstances (traffic, weather conditions, or emergencies) may cause delays. In such cases:

  • We will contact you as soon as possible to provide updates.
  • If delivery is significantly delayed, we may offer a partial refund, store credit, or reschedule your delivery at no extra cost.
  • LALUNASHOE is not liable for delays beyond our control once the cake has left our premises.

7. Order Tracking and Communication

  • Customers will receive a delivery confirmation via email or text when the order is on its way.
  • If you need to change your delivery address or have special requests, please notify us at least 24 hours before delivery.

8. Cancellations and Changes

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date for a full refund.
  • Changes to delivery addresses or time slots must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.

9. International Shipping

Currently, LALUNASHOE does not offer international shipping. Our cakes are freshly made and require careful handling, which makes long-distance shipping unfeasible.
